The Greater Washington Partnership launched the Capital CoLAB (“Collaborative of Leaders in Academia and Business”) to build and scale educator-employer partnerships that would expand access to industry-validated, digital tech competencies for learners of all ages across the Capital Region. Together with its partners, the Capital CoLAB aims to build the most diverse digital tech workforce in the country and envisions engaging over 45,000 learners over the next 5 years, with 50% of those learners coming from underrepresented backgrounds.
